Cassette Tape – Houston’s Native Tongue
Cassette Tape rips through the Gulf Coast with a fearless, genre smashing sound that refuses to be boxed in. Fusing blues grit, funk groove, Latin jazz rhythms, and reggae rock energy, the band delivers a true crossover sound that reflects Houston’s cultural pulse. Comprised of five Houston locals — Louis Morales, Matt Cash, Noe Molina, Cam Rowe, and David Rios — Cassette Tape channels the city’s raw musical diversity into a soulful, high energy expression of Gulf Coast experimental psychedelic jams.
The band built its foundation playing shows along the coast before steadily expanding its reach across Houston and throughout Texas. Over the years, their high energy live performances and authentic Gulf Coast expression have earned them a loyal and growing fanbase, making Cassette Tape a true reflection of the region’s diverse musical heartbeat.
